Cafe Press U

I was a bit skeptical about the metal mesh filter at first, but it lets just enough of the coffee’s natural oils through for a rich, full-bodied cup without any grit. The press itself feels sturdy and the filter presses down evenly every time.

The filter plunges down smoothly without needing a ton of force, and it’s nice not having paper filters to buy. Cleanup is quick too—just rinse the mesh.

Finally, a press with a mesh filter fine enough to keep grit out of my morning cup but fast enough to not slow me down. I love that I can use it for both coffee and tea with the same easy push-down action.
