The strainer is designed well enough that hardly any grounds slip through into the finished brew. I filled it before bed and woke up to a smooth, rich concentrate that’s perfect over ice.

I was skeptical about how easy cold brew could be, but just pouring cold water through the grounds into the carafe was surprisingly simple. After 8 hours in the fridge, the coffee came out smooth and not bitter at all. The glass carafe looks nice enough to serve straight from the fridge.

I was surprised how smooth the coffee turned out after just one overnight steep in the fridge. The carafe holds enough for a few days of my morning routine without any bitter aftertaste.
