The glass feels really sturdy for the price, and I love that the strainer is wide enough to let loose leaves brew properly without clogging. Cleanup takes about a minute since everything rinses out so easily.

The plastic strainer is bigger than the one on my old pot, so whole leaf tea actually has room to open up. Only gripe is the lid gets pretty hot if you leave it on while steeping. Cleans up in seconds though.

The glass is thin but feels sturdy, and it's nice being able to watch the tea steep without lifting the lid. The plastic strainer is bigger than my old one so cleanup is easier, though I wish the spout poured a little faster.
